Last year when Barack Obama announced his candidacy for President, I got involved with a national grassroots organization called Barack the Youth Vote. Our founder, Joseph Vogel, put together a compilation of 25 essays by young people about why we support Obama’s campaign. My essay was chosen to be among them.
